we are the fresh girls two big love muffins and one sweet-little love muffin we live in a little yellow cottage surrounded by gardens & farm fields, nestled in the rolling hills of western massachusetts. a few years ago we installed a whole new kitchen, got it certified by the town health department...and soon after, our 'little cottage' enterprise was born. it all started with a wedding we planned and held in our back yard. we needed wedding favors. i thought, 'how about love muffins'. my family asked, "what's a lovemuffin?" i said, "it's a delicious, nutritious, moist muffin made lovingly, and in its center (the heart of it) is a dollop of homemade jam!" so we baked like crazy the night before the wedding, packaged a pair of love muffins into a dainty gold box then wrapped it with ribbon and a tag declaring the newly-weds. each guest went home with an edible delight -- in the name of love! it was a huge hit. and so, the idea for our business was conceived, right in our own garden. how divine! | coming soon! our lovely property will soon be available for weddings. we will offer a very affordable opportunity for couples who want to have a simple garden wedding. stay tuned or email us if you have specific questions. | Customer testimonials alysia & ali's wedding -- quote to go here |
